Head of Procurement Common Spend/Governance

Description: Implements the critical, long-term category strategies in the assigned area of responsibility in line with the overall BI Sourcing and business strategy to ensure continuity of supply, constantly increase productivity and optimize external spend. Owns and leads decentralized categories according to the centrally stipulated Target Operating Model (TOM). Coordinates and governs various interfaces and processes, performance management, personnel planning, training management. Maximize competitive advantages. Analyze and leverage internal demand. Bring market intelligence to BI. Use resources wisely. Implement standardized processes for Common Spend Area and optimize system usage and opportunity. Implement innovative negotiation strategy and tools.   Potentially lead and drive complex Sourcing projects across sourcing areas. Drive harmonization at the local level. Ensure proper local KPI reporting on an ongoing basis. Drive and manage HoP and Global Sourcing Governance initiatives. Establish the compliance framework for the local Sourcing organisation including processes, procedures, policies and legal/GxP requirements.   Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration or Pharmaceutics; Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution may also be considered with experience. Four (4) years of leadership experience leading individual contributors. Two to four (2-4) years of sourcing expertise with quality focus. Demonstrated success with the following capabilities:  Total cost of ownership, saving and NPV; Spend analysis and benchmarking; Process knowledge and understanding; Project management; Delivering against commitments; Results focused Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
