Manager, Ethics & Compliance Operations

Description: Lead the preparation and submission of all Federal(Sunshine) and State transparency reports. Management of 3 remote analysts including oversight of the data QC and corrective actions. Facilitate the Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC) screening and mitigation strategy and Fair Market Value (FMV) assessment process.  Perform analytics and Develop reports for senior management. Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees.   Duties & Responsibilities: Transparency & Disclosure Lead the preparation and submission of all Federal and State reports (oversight by AD T&D Compliance Ops) Lead the QC of State and Federal T&D data, handling of disputes and correcting data Management of three (3) analysts in Argentina Follow up and close out on T&D monitoring findings Provide requirements and review of data analytics of T&D data to be incorporated into analytics dashboard Fair Market Value (FMV) Facilitate FMV Solutions Evaluation Process including monitoring, tracking and ensuring supporting documentation is complete Tracking and monitoring Transfer of Value evaluations and ensuring supporting documentation is complete HCP Engagements Activities lead the follow up on disputes and potential compliance infractions related to HCP engagements and/or Speaker programs to ensure they are addressed accordingly and appropriate CAPA's have been implemented Anti-Bribery / Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Perform ABAC Third Party Screening Facilitate ABAC Governance Screening / Mitigation meetings, document mitigation strategies and outcomes Manage ABAC screening and mitigation database Analytics Responsible for gathering data from various sources for purposes of data analyses (e.g. T&D; ABAC and FMV) and incorporation into analytics dashboard Remain current with all Federal and State laws and regulations related to transparency and disclosure including Federal Physician Sunshine Payment Provisions and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act   Requirements: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience required. Four to five plus (4-5+) years experience working in a compliance environment, including demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the requirements for effective compliance programs as set forth in the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines. Understanding of the US FCPA guidelines and experience with implementation of an Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption program a plus. Understanding of Physician Sunshine Payment Provisions of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and pharmaceutical industry transparency requirements. Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Compliance environment a plus. Demonstrated AAI and the ability to make fact-based analyses and decisions. High degree of proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and project management systems. Must possess strong verbal, written, presentation and other communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to collaborate and partner across the organization(locally and globally) both with peers and senior management.    Eligibility Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
