Description:   This person provides analytics support and sets up goal for National Payer accounts teams in order to maximize top line growth by looking at analogs, market conditions and future investment planning to attain and exceed the goal. The role will develop and propagate analytic approaches to inform strategic/key payer account analytics and monitor account performance.  Additionally they will lead analytics and metric development along with pull and push through plans specific to one national account across all primary care products. Ensure cross functional collaboration, communication and alignment with Marketing, Sales, A&I TA Leads and Commercial Operations relevant to payer analytics.  They will have responsibility for assisting in the development of metrics for national payers and monitoring of those metrics to provide actionable insights to Regional Account Directors.   Responsibilities include payer account analytics and analytics to support Marketing / payer sales.  Key deliverables include goal for payer accounts and models to project what-if analysis and special projects as requested by customers and leadership.    As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees   Duties & Responsibilities: Develop strategies and tactics based on analytics and associated insights to inform and provide recommendations to guide high-level decisions affecting payer sales and project our opportunities top plans to Sr. Leadership and other stakeholders. Ensure that all relevant information from other functions (e.g. Forecasting, and Controlling) is integrated into analyses. Provide in-depth and integrated analysis of payer account data to identify opportunities and insights for payer account teams across all primary care products to improve/optimize performance. Lead analytics and metric development on pull through / push through. Develop appropriate performance metrics for payer accounts and monitor those metrics to provide actionable insights to Payer Account Directors.  Collaborate with Area analytics for flagging HCPs in call plan development and work with Targeting & Segmentation team to ensure appropriate analyses are developed and deployed for key payer accounts and regional accounts in the Areas.  Monitor competitive product landscape and trends related to payer reimbursement, and determine implications to BI's product portfolio. Understand customer and industry trends as they relate to contracted customers and potentially-contracted customers. Account level analysis including all claims data / contract data Xponent data / Market Access data to provide insights and align internal customers   Requirements: BS/BA from an accredited institution required with nine (9) years of Pharmaceutical and/or Healthcare Insurance Experience including Field analytics experience including traditional and and/or account based selling experience and field analytical capabilities; Master's degree from an accredited institution with seven (7) years of Pharmaceutical Experience including Field analytics experience including traditional and and/or account based selling experience and field analytical capabilities preferred Previous payer analytics experience, pharmaceutical industry experience and familiarity with US payer environment and data sets.  Proficiency in SAS and other data extraction and analytical tools such as R, etc., Experience with Excel and Power Point and building forecasting models. Demonstrated knowledge of familiarity with plan pull through and understanding of the evolving sales model Ability to influence all levels of management, respond to challenges of forecasting approach, assumptions and explain final forecast result. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
