The Integrative Toxicology group at Employer is currently seeking a Senior Scientist within Nonclinical Drug Safety-Development at the Ridgefield, CT site.
The incumbent will bring network analysis to complement our laboratory-based group's safety de-risking activities which uses state-of-the-art molecular/cell-tissue biology and biomarker technologies, immunopharmacology endpoints, and computational systems modeling and data analytics.
This Senior Scientist position in Network Pharmacology-Toxicology will apply or adapt network analysis approaches to support preclinical safety assessments of novel therapeutic concepts and new molecular entities.
The incumbent will bring his/her training in network biology or pharmacology to perform analysis of integrated data sources to increase mechanistic understanding of toxicology findings and predict their human relevance.

Apply or adapt network analysis approaches to integrate and interrogate diverse data sources (molecular, cellular, and animal/human) to postulate mechanism of action for adverse effects and predict human relevance Independently communicates results, interacts and communicates effectively in a team setting Participates in relevant external meetings, keeps abreast of relevant literature, generates external presentations or peer-reviewed publications Requirements:
PhD, DVM degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Network or Systems Biology, Pharmacology; Bioinformatics) Demonstrated skills in network or systems biology/pharmacology, pathway analysis and visualization.
Post-doctoral experience desirable Proficient in using common bioinformatics systems, as well as molecular interaction, network/pathway analysis and visualization tools Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and work with others in an interdisciplinary team environment Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
