E-Commerce company with facilities in both the Bronx and Danbury CT is lookng for a JD Edwards CNC / Technical Specialist
Seeking a mid-level JDEdwards E1 CNC / Technical specialist with a minimum of five (5) years' experience to work with mange services to help support the following areas:
oCreate, maintain, support, and deploy JDE Enterprise One environments and packages and/or coordinate with Velocity.
oDaily support, administration, and problem resolution of applications issues with JDE technical team.
oWork closely with Infrastructure team to manage updates and testing across E1 server environment.
oAdminister OMW which includes installation, setup and project promotions.
oWork with Operations team for server and client package builds and deployments.
oApply ESU's, paper fixes, updates and service pack upgrades per the schedule, or as necessary.
oJDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring.
oCreate and manage environments, path codes, and instances.
oMonitor and manage application system performance and availability.
oWork with IT Governance, internal and external auditors which includes; performing quarterly reviews and audits of JDE user access rights and object ownership authorities and determine appropriateness testing with input from the Business Analysts.
oKeep current with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components.
oRecommend new best practices to improve performance and minimize risk.
oCreate standard operating procedures for routine tasks.
oWork closely with JDE Development Team, Middleware Team, and IT Operations.
oMaintain and update Disaster Recovery procedures along with regular testing of E1 fail-over / fail-back scenarios with IT Operations.
oEffective verbal and written communication skills required
Requirements:
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science
oEquivalent work experience of 3 to 5 years in a related field
oStrong knowledge of systems including Windows Server, SQL, Virtual, Oracle DB, WebLogic, WEB and IBM iSeries environment
oOracle JD Edwards, Enterprise One 9.1; tools release 9.1.3
oStrong knowledge of the JDE E1 Technical Foundation tools and CNC functionality
oOneView, Self-Service Portals and UPK knowledge/experience a plus
oExcellent technical knowledge, aptitude and experience in the areas of server administration, networks, workstations, JDE application software and troubleshooting / problem solving
oExperience with JDE Security required; Oracle GRC knowledge is a plus.
oExperience with any JD Edwards upgrade(s) or implementation(s) is a plus.
oResults-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
oProven attention to detail with higher level problem solving skills.
Salary for this position can go up to roughly $160K plus benefits and the work can be done at either their Bronx or Danbury locations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
