Details:
The main responsibility required for this position will be to assist with protein purification. It will require a general understanding of protein biochemistry and protein stability. Extensive knowledge in Excel, Power point, Word processing.
Skills:
- Extensive expertise in Excel, Power point and Word processing
- Knowledge of different biological sample types (DNA, protein, cells, antibodies, etc.), appropriate storage conditions and sample handling desired
- Attention to details
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Concise and accurate reporting of technical data and information
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
- Appropriate level of understanding of applicable regulations
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple workflows
- Willing to take initiative and work independently
- Experience working with biological samples is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years experience in related scientific discipline or a Master's Degree with 3
years experience in Biochemistry or related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
