Whip Salon is seeking a positive and dynamic Corporate Hospitality Manager.
The professional in this role will work directly with the Operations Manager and Owner to coordinate and manage the front desk hospitality associates across all of Whip Salon's corporate locations.
Responsibilities of the Corporate HR Manager include:
Staffing:
This includes recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
The HR Manager must ensure that the salon has the right people in the right roles to meet its business goals.
Setting policies:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that govern all aspects of employment, such as hiring, compensation, benefits, and termination.
These policies must be fair and consistent, and they must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Compensation and
Benefits:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and administering the salon's compensation and benefits programs.
This includes setting salaries, wages, and bonuses; offering health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits; and ensuring that all employees are paid fairly and on time.
Retention:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and implementing programs to retain employees.
This includes providing opportunities for professional development, offering competitive salaries and benefits, and creating a positive work environment.
Training:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for employees.
This includes training on new products and services, as well as training on compliance with laws and regulations.
Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time hourly W2 position, 30-40 hours max per week, $24-$26 per hour depending on experience.
Pay periods run weekly Saturday-Friday.
You'll be paid weekly by direct deposit every Friday for the previous Saturday-Friday.
You will accrue PTO at a rate of 0.
04 hours per hour worked.
At 40h/week you will accrue 2 weeks (80h) of PTO per year.
After 3 months of employment you will qualify for the Whip Salon 401(k) program.
You will receive discounts on services & products at Whip Salon.
You will primarily work on site at the Ridgefield salon but will travel frequently among the Fairfield County salons and will work at least one day per month at each CT location.
The company will issue you a gas card to cover your fuel costs.
You may occasionally be required to travel to the Hilton Head Island, SC location at the company's expense.
We're flexible in terms of schedule as we're generally open 7 days a week.
Candidate requirements:
Must have at least 3 years experience as an HR manager at a salon or spa ideally.
Experience with multiple salon locations a plus.
Comparable experience in upscale hospitality industry (hotel, resort, spa, etc) will also be considered.
Must have authorization to work in the US without restrictions.
Must be able to reliably commute to Ridgefield CT and be able to drive to other salon locations in Connecticut regularly.
