SR Principal Scientist

DescriptionPropose and implement new R&D and/or technology goals and new experimental designs.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects within the laboratory.
Define, implement and communicate tactics for achieving overall R&D project goals.
Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and evaluate and interpret data.
Responsible for the management and development of scientific staff.

Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheims high regard for our employeesDuties & ResponsibilitiesLead in proposing and implementing new experimental designs and concepts that contribute to core group/research goals and reflect expert knowledge; Direct and oversee experimental design and results of junior staff; Independently propose and oversee implementation of new areas of researchAssumes leadership role for either project teams OR acts as a representative on multiple project teams and contributes to overall program goalsIndependently communicates results by preparing clear technical reports, publications and oral presentations; Effectively delivers updates to senior management in context of overall project goalsFunctions as an acknowledged resource and technical leader within and outside of the department in a specific project-relevant area OR technology; Provide guidance and expertise to advance specific R&D projects OR evaluates and proposes new technologies and concepts, in support of the advancement of multiple R&D projectsDemonstrates broad knowledge in field of expertise, the ability to interpret current literature and apply to relevant R&D projects Complies with all applicable regulations; Ensures that work performed in area of responsibility is conducted in a safe and compliant manner; Maintains proper records in accordance with SOPs and policiesProvides administration within area of responsibility including:
recruiting, managing, mentoring and developing scientific staff; Provide assistance in the preparation and management of operating and capital equipment budgets, as requiredRequirementsPh.

from an accredited institution, or equivalent in relevant field, with seven-plus (7+) years of experience in addition to experience in lab managementDemonstrates a broad knowledge of fieldAppropriate level of understanding of applicable regulationsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in an inter-disciplinary environmentDesired Skills, Experience and AbilitiesPrevious supervisory experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
