We are a large multi-specialty medical practice seeking an Experienced Medical Biller to join our team.

Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented individual with at least 2
years of medical accounts receivable experience.
The Medical Biller handles all aspects of claims processing, payment posting, monitoring timely payments from insurance companies, insurance verification, insurance denials, and appeals.
This position is also responsible for responding to incoming patient calls regarding billing matters, which may include questions regarding patient statements and balances due.
Qualifications:
Medical Billing certification preferred.
Knowledge of third-party billing.
Knowledgeable of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
Attention to detail with the ability to identify/resolve problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Be organized and detailed in work performance.
Computer Savvy.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2
years medical office billing.
Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:
30 am - 5:
00 pm in the office.
This is not a remote position.
Salary commensurate with experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
